NERSA lowers 2012 power price increase to 16%. City of Cape Town electricity profit in July 2012 for private houses using 1200 kwh per month = 220%!! R1.29 * 1.16 = R1.50; R1.50 (price in 2012) / 0.68 (price in 2008) = 220%. Prices include VAT.
